In 2004, the Benriach distillery was acquired by the world-famous Scot Billy Walker, who, together with his partners, not only restored the distillery, but also brought it to a leading position. Soon after, 12, 16 and 20-year-old Benriach whiskeys were released, as well as the Curiositas series. Today, the Benriach distillery offers a fairly wide range of products from classic Speyside-style whiskey to whiskeys with various wine "finishes".
